Review of Dubrovnik’s countryside cooking class, with farm-fresh food, family hospitality, hotel transfers, costs, menus, and booking advice.

“Probably the best tour we ever booked. Nike our hostess, was fantastic. We were picked up by Oliver and driven to a family farm. There they had vegetable gardens and chickens. Picked and collected fresh items and then cooked a fabulous lunch. Hands on cooking. So welcoming. The meal from fresh bread to fresh pasta, chicken, salad, family made Olive oil and the best wine ever. Highly recommend this tour”

“We had the most incredible experience with this cooking class in Split! From the start, our private chef guided us through both the fish market and green market, teaching us so much along the way. Marin was so unbelievably knowledgeable, and his passion really shines. Both my partner and I love to cook (he even more than I do!), and this class was a highlight of our trip. We laughed nonstop, shared stories, even bonded over our favorite movie Ratatouille. The food, the wine, the snacks — everything was absolutely delicious. This wasn’t just a cooking class; it felt like an experience we’ll be talking about to everyone we know.…”

It was a wonderful time and we learned a lot from our gracious hosts about Croatian culture and food. Highly recommend!”

“Spent a great couple of hours letting our imagination run wild. Experimenting with colours and not being too worried about the outcome. The two ladies were really encouraging and helpful with advice. The food was lovely. The wine less so! But I’m a wine snob and I prefer red wine over white, but it did not dampen my spirits nor my enthusiasm. The evening is primarily about the art work of which I’m proud.”

Yes, it's a bit pricey but wow for the food and for the scenic views. The restaurant is a converted railway station and along the way you will see lots of bunkers left over from the war, and the driver will be happy to tell the stories from times past.”
